-Remove all popcorn by hand to ensure a high-quality final finish

-Sand the existing sheetrock to ensure all residual dust is removed and ready for proper adhesion

-Thoroughly inspect the existing sheetrock for cracks, sagging drywall, failing tape joints, water intrusion, and other necessary repairs

-Add additional finish coats to the underlying sheetrock to ensure a smooth final product

-Apply a professional texture or skim coat of your choice.
